@jimj12 time is of the essence in king and pawn endgames. They are always one of 3 results and can all be calculated to the end. Ether draw/win for white/win for black.
Never will a king and pawn endgame be slightly better/better/or much better for one side or the other. It is always concrete.
King and pawn endgames require calculation and are the best tools in my opinion to improve your calculation. Best way to do it is just calculate and solve many of them. Most king and pawn endgames like this one can be counted and not really calculated. Count how many moves it takes for black to go catch the c2 pawn while white goes and catches the f7 pawn and both sides queen.
