I think that one of Lichess' best features is its support for numerous chess variants. That said, analysis on here could be potentially improved.
Whenever we start the analysis board, it could be very nice to allow a choice to use the rules for a chess variant (e.g. atomic), since just as people use the analysis board for devising new novelties for regular chess, it can also be used for finding new openings in other variants. Without this, one has to go to a previous game played in that variant, and then use that as an analysis board.
Also, it would be great if whenever we make annotations/analysis on a game (no matter which variant) we could save the PGN we create in brackets. For example, if you went into this finished game (http://en.lichess.org/HAsZytBJ) and then on move four you played 4. Bxd5 instead, then it should be able to be downloaded as PGN, like:
3. c4 Nc6 4. cxd5 (Bxd5 Nf6 5. Nf3) Bf5 etc...
