Feature Request : Keep chat contents in case of rematch

sometimes we chat during a match but after is endend and we rematch the conversation remains in the previous game. some messages may even remain unseen.
Please add a feature to keep the contents of the chat window if playing with same person.

why you want this, and how is it usefull?

I was going to ask how I was spamming, but I then I got it :)
I was actually seconding the proposal and not spamming the thread. From the 8 downvotes and 1 horsey it seems my comment was widely misunderstood. Sorry.

The one answer to both questions seems obvious - you're having a single conversation with the same opponent over several games; it's chat and you want to refer above once in a while.

But how do you reconcile your own statement of it being a good idea with your own question of why the same is true?

the the main points here are that i want to follow up the conversation and that while i'm in the midle of responding while the page is creating a new game, the response is lost
