When lichess "was down" it was my turn and my I lost 10 seconds

I was playing a hyperbullet game a few minutes ago and both clocks froze. Then I reloaded the page and there was a message saying "lichess is down". When the message stopped appearing, my opponent appeared to have gained 10 seconds and I appeared to have lost 10 seconds.

It isn't fair at all, lichess. You can't give people time and take away time from others. Please change this. I love lichess but I hate it when things like this happen.

appears you were playing during a restart in the bottom left it warns about restarts then when the server does restart you should refresh because your browser most of the time does not. Then lichess adds equal amount of time to both sides and the game goes on. This is in a perfect world restarts can cause problems that will make this not the case.
