Ding is a shell of a man psychologically.
I think that’s his decision to make a point of not playing mind games and be true to his feelings.. well now he has shared with the world he is struggling with the mental and thus cemented this situation

Mind games is healthy it forces you to retain a positive outlook ... Ding is not there.

Nepo can celebrate at this point.

I think ding played really well however he does lack experience playing with so much pressure especially when the world championship is at stake, that’s not to discredit nepo brilliant play, and him being there just 2 years ago. I have to give the edge to nepo.
Either way we all know this championship will be very exciting for the chess community

there are other competitors too. Like Ding and many others .
