Possible to play with 2 accounts?

Don't know about what the author wants to say, but have indeed 2 different account on this site, and do follow #2 restrictions. In detail, I may consider myself a professional player (which doesn't mean i get money from chess) and opening prep is a big part of my work. My main repertoire is 1.d4, with black Grünfeld on d4/French on 1.e4. When I (rarely) play on my 'serious' account "strategymaster" I do exactly that, whereas on this account I always (90%) start with 1.e4, playing my 2nd repertoire with black (and concentrating on practical, rather than "pure" playstyle). Since these are two different pictures of me I don't consider it cheating of any kind. I also don't get into the leaderboards, which is why it doesn't influence anything (except maybe 3-check and 960 which i play on both accounts, but rarely enough so there is never two of me in the top 10).
I write it openly in my description and I am ready to consider the consequences, should it become really a problem.

But overall, I see no problem with creating 2nd accounts, but there should be a real reason behind it rather than ego and rating points. And like I mentioned, should I have to close one of the both accounts then i will do that immediately, but in my case it will only start the cascades then :) (playing 1.e4 like 2300 and 1.d4 like 2500)
I still need to learn how to stay seated for 24 hours and play decent chess without taking any breaks. I have two problems with this. First, I need lots of time to calculate to make sure my strategy is sound. So, I have no chance to win fast games against little kids in OTB Blitz chess tournaments. Second problem, I got very tired after playing a long time controls tournament for 1 day. There were 4 rounds with breaks between them. The tournament took like 12 hours to complete. Does anyone have any tips on how to do well in 24 hours long chess tournament of continuous play without any breaks between the games?

I also want to add that there is a thread here of a player here who did not withdraw properly and lost lots of games and rating points without making any move:

So in a marathon tournament, any short break would mean lots of lost games and rating points.
To BahadirOzen: I never meant to insult you or accuse you of any wrongdoing. Please post here when you are going to play in a lichess hyperbullet (preferably Bitchess) tournament. I would be glad to watch you in action. I learn a lot by watching very high rated players playing. You are rated 3001 and you are lichess bullet #1 so obviously all your games here have lots of spectators!

During the tournament you can take a break. Can try. Enough to play a game. And nothing else on the computer not press. The tournament will continue and you won't get to do the challenge for a new party. Defeats not only a waste of time. For example to smoke or to drink coffee. When you're ready. You click join or just below click on the inscription of the tournament. And you're back in the tournament.
Back when I first found this great site in January 2013, there weren't that many players here. Making a new account couldn't have been easier. It only took about three clicks.

Compare that to the way most websites have set up account registration -- in such a way that actually discourages users. Enter the password, re-enter the password, enter an email, re-enter an email, fill out countless personal questions such as your birthday, secret questions and answers, then finally try to complete a captcha that you can barely even figure out the numbers and letters after multiple tries.

There were good reasons for multi-accounting back in the day. For example, you thought of a clever new chess related name. Or there were the players who would try to avoid playing anyone better than they were, so you could trick them into playing you on a new account. This was all before the email validation and provisional ratings they've since put into place here.

As with anything, some people don't know how to have fun and will abuse the system. These are the cheaters, poor sports, obnoxious and rude players who I'm sure most of you have run into at one point or another. They try to ruin it for everyone to compensate for their own shortcomings. You can thank them for the current policies and the general bitterness that frequently seems to pervade the chat and forums.

To end on a positive note, here is a nice site some of you may be interested in:

By the way, this is the type of abuse I'm referring to:

[black]easy
[black]hahahahahaa
[black]i'm so superior
[black]to u
[black]fucking
[black]loser
To chess240: don't worry about abuse here. Lichess is a great place to train for serious OTB tournaments. The rating here is just an indication of relative strength among people playing here.
OTB people get a lot more annoyed when losing. I always remind them that chess is just a game, a hobby, nothing more. No need to worry too much. Just to come to have fun.
On the side note, if you want, you can always uncheck the chat box during the games here.

Seriously? You will tell him how much to talk?

Second, I remember your account description stating that chess is your life but it seems to me that chess is just where you draw your self esteem from. Since hitting the 3000 rating you stopped playing! And you played again only against two 1300 to keep your champion's cup! That's how much you love chess...

So, do yourself a favour and stop caring about the rating. Enjoy the game and keep improving. I am sure that you know that your chess can be improved a lot.
So what is the point of holding this trophy?
Does it make you better than you are?
No, it's just supposed to indicate to the others your abilities but why is that important to you?
You don't need it.
You shouldn't depreciate yourself so much.
I have no doubt that you have much greater capabilities as a person.

Best wishes
to number 18,

recently he played a few games against IM astanehchess in hyperbullet and lost two of them, so his rating is 2943 now not 3001, and even if it was 3001 he would be 2nd becasue unvieuxmonsieur is rated 3069!(yet the latter does the same thing[play lower rated player for the ranking])
