Bughouse chess please!

Bughouse is "team chess" and its a lot of fun. I use to play on FICS and they had bughouse with ratings and it was fun. Its not really that hard to code/setup as people think. But out of all the variants on this site so far it will probably be the most challenging to code. Bughouse will revolutionize lichess. Its better then all the other chess variants combined!

Over the internet I did not find any normal implementation of Bughouse for playing via website... I would also like to play it here... very nice one..

As I understood from other topics here, main developer is not against this option, but it is hard to implement.

If only I had financial possibilities I would pay for this feature to developers to implement. Interesting, how much it could cost...

Bughouse is a great variant. I remember we played it on chess classes. May be there will be found somebody, who could implement this.

ask thibault how much funds he would need for this and start a crowd funding to see if enough people will support this...

But lichess is suppose to be free...

There is one place I know that actually has bughouse. I won't say the name because I don't want anyone switching places.

But in order for bughouse to actually work, not only does the dual board setup have to be coded in but a partner system must also be coded in as well.

And a partner system will usually involve a person sending out a seek looking for a partner and someone has to accept, once they get a partner then either one of them can post a bughouse match and other players who have bughouse partners can see it.
